The third round of the Champions League continues in Leverkusen, where Bayer Leverkusen will host PSG.
Having lost several key players over the offseason, Bayer Leverkusen has visibly weakened and is now primarily focused on securing a top-four finish in the Bundesliga. Recently, the “Pharmacists” have shown attacking firepower but inconsistent results — a 4-3 win over Mainz domestically, a 2-2 draw with Copenhagen, and a 1-1 stalemate with PSV in Europe. Their current unbeaten streak now stands at eight matches.
