In the last match of the Primeira Liga matchday 6, Boavista and Benfica will try to determine the strongest!
Back in mid-August, Boavista dealt with Casa Pia (1:0), after which they had a series of unsuccessful games with Braga (0:1), Famalicao (0:1), Estoril (0:0) and Estrela (2:2). It is not surprising that at such a pace, the Checkers dropped to thirteenth position with five points in the standings and a goal difference of 3:4.
Benfica can boast of home wins against Casa Pia (3:0), Estrela (1:0) and Santa Clara (4:1), while away there were misfires with Famalicao (0:2) and Moreirense (1:1). The current fifth place with 10 points and a goal record of 9:4 does not exactly match the ambitions of the Eagles, but they will still have time to make up for lost time.
Benfica's talent pool is noticeably higher, but their problem with away matches is unlikely to go away. We would venture to assume that Boavista will once again work well in defense and avoid serious troubles.
