Bologna FC 1909 vs Inter Milan Prediction 23 May 2026
Added on 21 May, 2026
With the Serie A season drawing to a close, Bologna and Inter Milan meet in the final round with very different moods surrounding their campaigns.
Neither side has much left to fight for in the standings, but there is still enough quality on the pitch to expect an entertaining encounter.
Bologna ultimately fell short of the European places for the first time in three years, yet eighth place with 55 points and a 46:43 goal difference still represents a respectable season overall. Their recent form has been mixed: defeats to Juventus and Roma exposed some limitations, but the Rosso Blu responded with solid performances against Cagliari (0-0), Napoli (3-2), and Atalanta (1-0), showing they can still compete with strong opposition when focused.
Inter, meanwhile, have looked every bit like champions in recent weeks. The Nerazzurri comfortably dispatched Cagliari, Parma, and Lazio, while also picking up draws against Torino and Verona. Those results were more than enough to secure the Serie A title ahead of schedule, with Simone Inzaghi’s side finishing the campaign on an outstanding 86 points and boasting the league’s best attacking record — 86 goals scored against only 32 conceded.
Much of Inter’s success has revolved around the brilliant form of Lautaro Martínez, who once again proved decisive in front of goal. With the World Cup approaching, the Argentine striker will be eager to maintain momentum and add to his impressive tally. Given Inter’s attacking firepower and Bologna’s occasional defensive lapses, the visitors look capable of ending the season on another high note.
Lautaro Martinez to score (yes) 2.30
