Borussia Dortmund will host Barcelona on Tuesday for the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal, hoping to salvage pride after a heavy 0-4 defeat in the first leg.
Domestically, Dortmund are struggling, sitting outside the European qualification spots with just five Bundesliga games left, though they recently managed a spirited 2-2 draw with Bayern. Their European form has been better, but not spectacular, with modest wins over Sporting (3-0, 0-0) and Lille (0-0, 2-1).
Barcelona, meanwhile, are cruising both in Europe and La Liga. After easily seeing off Benfica in the Round of 16 (1-0, 3-1), they dominated Dortmund last week with a commanding performance. With a four-goal lead, Barça can afford to rotate, while Dortmund are expected to go on the attack early. They may score, but overturning the deficit seems out of reach. Expect a more balanced game, but Barcelona should comfortably progress.
