Everton F.C. vs Leeds United F.C. Prediction 26 January 2026
Added on 24 January, 2026
Everton will host Leeds on Monday evening in the final fixture of the 23rd Premier League matchday.
Sitting 10th with 32 points and a 24:25 goal difference, Everton continue to justify their reputation as a reliable mid-table side. Over the past month, the Toffees have picked up impressive away wins against Nottingham (2–0) and Aston Villa (1–0), shared points with Burnley (0–0) and Wolverhampton (1–1), and suffered a 4–2 defeat to Brentford.
Leeds, meanwhile, arrive at Goodison Park in 16th place with 25 points and a 30:37 goal difference. Their narrow 1–0 victory over Fulham ended a four-match winless run and provided a timely boost. Earlier in the season, the Peacocks proved they can compete with stronger opposition, holding Sunderland (1–1), Liverpool (0–0), and Manchester United (1–1), while narrowly losing a thrilling encounter with Newcastle (3–4).
The two sides appear closely matched, a fact reflected in their goalless draw earlier in the campaign. This time, however, both teams seem better positioned to play more openly, and there is a strong chance of a livelier contest with goals at both ends.
