Next Tuesday, Munich will host a Champions League semi-final match in which local Bayern take on Real Madrid!
Bayern have utterly failed the season in the Bundesliga, where as a result they will not take any trophy for the first time in a very long time. Prior to the match, Die Roten barely broke the resistance of Eintracht (2:1), and in the UCL playoffs at the expense of a strong game at home defeated Lazio (0:1, 3:0) and Arsenal (2:2, 1:0).
Real Madrid defeated RB Leipzig (1:0, 1:1) and Manchester City (3:3, 1:1) purely on class, going for the fifteenth Champions Cup in history. On the national arena, Los Blancos are confidently leading, and last Friday they even defeated Real Sociedad 1-0 with their reserve team.
The slight favourites of this pair are Bayern, who always put their best foot forward at home in the Champions League. Nevertheless, Real are not planning to dry up the game, so we expect goals from both sides.
