Bayern will compete with Wolfsburg in Sunday's match of the Bundesliga matchday 33!
Since the beginning of April, Bayern have suffered defeats from Heidenheim (2:3) and Stuttgart (1-3), in between which were their victories over Cologne (2:0), Union Berlin (5:1) and Eintracht (2:1). Thus, Die Roten earned 69 points with a goal difference of 90:41 and settled on the second line of the standings.
Three consecutive victories over Bochum (1:0), Freiburg (2:1) and Darmstadt (3:0) actually saved Wolfsburg's season and lifted it to twelfth place with 37 points and a goal difference of 40:51. And after the fiascoes from Borussia Monchengladbach (1:3) and RB Leipzig (0:3) over the Wolves temporarily threatened to fight for survival.
Yes, Bayern are much stronger, but after the total failure of the season, they do not really put out in Bundesliga matches. We are sure Die Roten won't leave the field without scoring, but Wolfsburg have a good chance of a decent response.
