On Thursday night, Viktoria Plzeň will host Lazio in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16.
Despite sitting third in the Czech league after a confident 2-0 win over Mladá Boleslav, Plzeň has been a more formidable force in European competition. The Red-Blues secured a top-24 finish in the tournament and convincingly dispatched Ferencváros in the previous round (0-1, 3-0).
