In the opening match of La Liga’s nineteenth round, Getafe will host Real Sociedad in a clash between two sides struggling for consistency.
Getafe enjoyed a promising first third of the season and even flirted with European places, but their momentum has faded. Following a narrow 1–0 win over Elche, the Azulones stumbled against Villarreal (0–2), Espanyol (0–1), Betis (0–4), and Rayo Vallecano (1–1). Real Sociedad find themselves in an even more precarious position.
