Latvia vs England Prediction 14 October 2025
Added on 12 October, 2025
The Latvian and English national teams will face off once again in the next 2026 World Cup qualifying match as they look to determine the stronger side.
The current qualifying campaign has been predictably difficult for Latvia. Sitting fourth in a five-team group with five points and a 4–8 goal difference, the Claret and Whites have struggled to keep pace. Their only points came from draws against Albania (1–1) and Andorra (2–2), while they suffered defeats to England (0–3), Serbia (0–1), and Albania (0–1).
England, by contrast, have cruised through their fixtures with minimal effort. Tuchel’s men have beaten Albania (2–0), Latvia (3–0), and Andorra (1–0, 2–0), before demolishing Serbia 5–0. As a result, the Three Lions sit comfortably atop Group K with a perfect record of 15 points and an impressive 13–0 goal difference.
In my opinion, Latvia have little chance of changing the story in this rematch — even if they manage to field a compact, disciplined lineup. England are unlikely to chase a big win, but their quality should once again guarantee a routine three points for Tuchel’s side.
