Leeds United F.C. vs Nottingham Forest F.C. Prediction 6 February 2026

The opening match of the 25th round of the Premier League sees two relegation rivals go head-to-head as Leeds United host Nottingham Forest.

Leeds currently sit 16th with 26 points and a goal difference of 31:42, a position that gives them a small but valuable cushion for the time being. Their recent form has been mixed: heavy 3–4 and 0–4 defeats to Newcastle and Arsenal were balanced out by draws against Manchester United and Everton (both 1–1), as well as a narrow but important 1–0 win over Fulham.

Nottingham arrive with a bit more momentum. After losing 1–3 to Aston Villa, Forest put together a solid run of results, beating West Ham (2–1) and Brentford (2–0), holding Arsenal to a goalless draw, and sharing the points with Crystal Palace (1–1). Even so, they remain in a precarious 17th place, level on points with Leeds but owning a weaker goal difference of 24:35.

With both sides locked in a direct fight for survival, this looks set to be a tense and pragmatic affair rather than an open one. Chances may come at a premium, goals should be limited, and all three outcomes feel firmly on the table.
