On Saturday evening, Manchester City will look to climb the Premier League table when they host mid-table Everton in the eighth round of the competition.
With 13 points and a goal difference of 15–6, City sit fifth, just three points behind the leaders. Pep Guardiola’s men have shown mixed form recently — beating Manchester United (3–0), Burnley (5–1), and Brentford (1–0), drawing 1–1 with Arsenal, and suffering a 1–2 defeat to Brighton.
