Next Wednesday, Manchester City will take on a struggling Leicester side in the 30th round of the Premier League.
With nine matches left, City have already lost any hope of defending their title, sitting in fifth place with 48 points and a goal difference of 55:40. Their recent form has been inconsistent, with victories over Newcastle (4-0) and Tottenham (1-0) but setbacks against Liverpool (0-2), Nottingham (0-1), and a 2-2 draw against Brighton.
Leicester, on the other hand, find themselves in dire straits. Consecutive defeats to Arsenal (0-2), Brentford (0-4), West Ham (0-2), Chelsea (0-1), and Manchester United (0-3) have left them second from the bottom with just 17 points and a dismal goal record of 25:65. Their chances of survival are now purely theoretical.
Given the vast difference in quality and form, this should be one of the easiest fixtures of the season for City. A dominant win seems highly likely, and a landslide victory for the home side wouldn't be surprising.
