North Macedonia vs Belgium Prediction 6 June 2025

Group J leaders North Macedonia will take on Belgium in the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in a match that could test the home side’s early momentum.

The Red-Yellows currently top the group with four points and a solid 4:1 goal difference, having handled Liechtenstein with ease (3:0) before drawing 1:1 with Wales. However, with the group favorites yet to fully flex their strength, the road ahead will likely be more challenging for the Balkan side.

Belgium, once ranked as the world’s top team by FIFA, are in the midst of a generational transition. While no longer the dominant force they were a few years ago, the Red Devils still possess enough quality to turn games around — as shown in their Nations League playoff clash with Ukraine, where they recovered from a 1:3 deficit with an emphatic 3:0 second-leg win. Despite some inconsistency, Belgium remains a formidable opponent, even if less overwhelming than in previous cycles.

North Macedonia will be counting on their passionate home support and organized play to frustrate the visitors. Considering Belgium's transitional phase and the hosts’ decent form, it's reasonable to expect a competitive contest. A draw in at least one half appears to be a realistic outcome in what should be a hard-fought encounter.

Draw in one of the halves (yes) 1.57
