The mechanics of Super Sub are straightforward. If you place a qualifying bet on a player-based outcome and that player is substituted during the match, your bet automatically transfers to the substitute who replaces them. Any actions performed by that substitute then count towards the outcome of your bet for the remainder of the 90 minutes of normal time, including injury time added by the referee. Extra time, however, is not included under the promotion.

In scenarios where a substitute is later replaced by another substitute, the bet continues to roll over. This means that if your original player is substituted, and then their replacement is also substituted, the next player coming on will continue to carry your bet. Settlement of Super Sub bets follows standard procedures. If the original player or any subsequent substitute fulfils the conditions of your selected market, your bet will be paid out as a winner. All bets are settled at full time, not at the moment the outcome is achieved. Winnings are credited as part of Paddy Power’s normal bet settlement process, with no separate bonus or token issued.

The promotion applies to bets placed using cash stakes as well as free bets. It is also compatible with partial Cash Out. If you partially cash out a qualifying bet, the remaining portion of your stake is treated as a live bet and continues to qualify for Super Sub under the same rules as a standard single bet.

Official Opta Data is used to determine the settlement of all Super Sub bets.
