The twenty-first round of the Scottish Premier League will feature a highly anticipated Old Firm Derby between Rangers and Celtic.
In the previous five meetings Brentford has only one victory over Newcastle (4:2), while with Aston Villa (1:3), Chelsea (1:2), Nottingham (0:2) and Brighton (0:0) he looked not so convincing. As a result, the current eleventh position of the Bees with 24 points and a goal difference of 32:32.
Arsenal, on the other hand, goes on the usual second place, having in its asset 36 points with the statistics of scoring and conceding 35:16. Towards the end of the year, the Canaries have gained a good shape, which is evident from the results of their confrontations with Manchester United (2:0), Fulham (1:1), Everton (0:0), Crystal Palace (5:1) and Ipswich (1:0).
In general, Brentford is a rather convenient opponent of Arsenal, the level of which is banally higher. We will not be surprised if the guests will succeed now and start the new year on a major note.
