The standout clash of the Champions League quarterfinals is set to be a heavyweight showdown between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Despite a shaky group stage where they barely made the top eight, Real Madrid found another gear in the knockout rounds. They secured convincing wins over Benfica (1-0, 2-1) and Manchester City (3-0, 2-1), once again proving their pedigree on Europe’s biggest stage. Domestically, however, Los Blancos have shown inconsistency, currently sitting second in La Liga and coming off a surprising 2-1 loss to Mallorca.
