In the 20th round of La Liga, reigning champions Real Madrid will face Las Palmas at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Real Madrid solidified their second-place standing with 43 points and a 43:19 goal difference following a 2:1 win over Valencia. Their recent form has been impressive, featuring dominant Cup victories over Deportivo Minera (5:0) and Celta (5:2). However, their Super Cup campaign included a 3:0 win against Mallorca but ended with a 2:5 loss to Barcelona.
Las Palmas, currently 14th with 22 points and a 24:29 goal difference, have had mixed results in their last five outings. They achieved wins over Valladolid (2:1) and Espanyol (1:0) and a draw with Real Sociedad (0:0), but suffered defeats to Elche (0:4) and Getafe (1:2).
While Las Palmas managed a draw in their first encounter with Real this season, playing at the Bernabéu presents a far greater challenge. Real Madrid is unlikely to let this one slip away and should secure a decisive victory.
