The second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals is scheduled for next Tuesday, in which Real Sociedad will host Mallorca!
Over the past month, Real Sociedad have achieved only one victory in seven matches, which is why they risk being eliminated from the Champions League and finding themselves outside the top 4 in the Spanish league. The recent fiasco 1:3 from Villarreal only aggravated the crisis of Txuri-urdin, but in the Cup they passed the barriers in the form of Buñol (1:0), Andracha (1:0), Malaga (1:0), Osasuna (2:0) and Celta (2:1).
On the way to the coveted Cup semi-final, Mallorca dealt with Boiro (4:0), Eguez (3:0), Burgos (3:0), Tenerife (1:0) and Girona (3:2). As for the national league, the Reds are fighting for survival there, having drawn a 1:1 battle with Alaves prior to the match.
In our opinion, Real Sociedad have every chance to finally gather their strength and, with the support of their home crowd, show their best football and reach the Cup final.
