On Monday evening, Rome will host the closing fixture of the fifteenth round of Serie A, as Roma welcome Como to the Stadio Olimpico.
Three consecutive 1–0 defeats to Milan, Napoli, and Cagliari have somewhat overshadowed Roma’s recent victories over Udinese (2–0) and Cremonese (3–1), raising questions about the Giallorossi’s long-term stability. Even so, they remain in a respectable fourth place with 27 points and a modest but solid goal difference of 15–8.
Como, meanwhile, come into this match on the back of a heavy 4–0 defeat to Inter. Neither side is currently at peak form, but Roma still possess the higher overall quality, particularly at home. A narrow victory for the hosts appears the most likely outcome, although Como have shown enough defensive resilience to suggest a draw cannot be ruled out.
