Valencia CF vs Real Madrid CF Prediction 8 February 2026
Added on 07 February, 2026
In the 23rd round of La Liga, title contenders Real Madrid travel to face struggling Valencia.
Valencia opened the new year in disastrous fashion with a 1–4 defeat to Celta, but their form has improved somewhat since then. Draws and narrow results against Elche (1–1), Getafe (1–0), Espanyol (3–2), and Betis (1–2) suggest greater competitiveness, though not consistency. Even with this uptick, the Bats remain in serious trouble, sitting 16th with 23 points and a worrying 23–35 goal difference.
Real Madrid arrive in far more convincing shape. In their last five matches, Los Blancos have dispatched Sevilla (2–0), Betis (5–1), Levante (2–0), Villarreal (2–0), and Rayo Vallecano (2–1). These results have propelled them to second place in the table with 54 points and an impressive 47–18 goal record, helping to offset disappointments suffered in other competitions.
The visitors are rightly considered favorites, but Valencia are unlikely to roll over at the Mestalla. Backed by their home crowd, the hosts look capable of producing at least one meaningful response against an opponent with vastly superior attacking firepower.
Both teams to score 1.63
