The Round of 16 in the FA Cup concludes with an intriguing London matchup between West Ham United and Brentford FC.
West Ham remain heavily involved in the battle for survival in the Premier League. Their recent 1–0 victory over Fulham FC was extremely important, as it reduced the gap to the safe zone to just one point and boosted morale within the squad. Despite their league struggles, the Hammers have been quite efficient in the cup. They began their campaign with a 2–1 win against Queens Park Rangers before edging past Burton Albion 1–0 to reach this stage.
