Global iGaming and betting operator bet365 has officially launched in Peru, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing international expansion!

The debut in the Peruvian market represents the operator's latest phase of growth, with a sharpened focus on increasing brand presence in Latin America (LatAm) and solidifying its foothold in the region.

Following the receipt of official licensing approval from Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), bet365 is now fully operational in the country, offering its range of online gaming, sports betting, live streaming, and in-play betting options. This move follows earlier LatAm market entries, with bet365 having already established itself in other countries within the region since 2022.

Peru, recognized as the fourth-largest country in Latin America, offers a vibrant and diverse market for bet365 to tap into. The company aims to capitalize on this opportunity by delivering an array of sports betting services, alongside its expansive selection of casino games, live casino experiences, and poker offerings. A bet365 spokesperson expressed excitement about the launch, saying, “We are delighted to introduce a dedicated bet365 platform in Peru, a country known for its dynamic population and rich cultural heritage. Our customers in Peru will now have access to an unrivaled sports betting experience, as well as a comprehensive suite of gaming options.”

The Peruvian launch is just one aspect of bet365’s larger strategy to deepen its presence in the LatAm region. The company is currently awaiting approval for a Brazilian license, which would allow it to enter Brazil’s newly regulated market. Brazil has become a focal point for major players in the gambling industry, and bet365 is positioning itself to take full advantage of the forthcoming regulatory changes in the country. If successful, the move would further cement bet365’s standing as a leading player in Latin America.

While expanding in South America, bet365 has also been making significant strides in North America. In the second half of 2024, the operator launched fixed-odds horseracing in New Jersey and Colorado through a partnership with Betmakers. Additionally, bet365 made its Pennsylvania debut in July, further strengthening its North American presence. In the Pennsylvania market, the company has formed key partnerships with Inspired and Playtech, solidifying its position as a versatile and influential operator in the U.S. iGaming sector.

Bet365’s strategic moves in both North and South America reflect its broader goal of enhancing global reach. As the operator continues to roll out its services across multiple markets, it remains focused on delivering top-tier gaming and betting experiences, while positioning itself for continued growth in both established and emerging markets worldwide.
