ComeOn Group Expands Sportsbook Presence in Ontario
ComeOn Group has bolstered its footprint in Ontario by adding a sportsbook to its offerings, marking a strategic expansion in the Canadian province.

The operator initially entered the Ontario market in April 2022, when it obtained a gambling license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). This license allowed ComeOn Group to roll out its online casino services, alongside the launch of its interactive streaming platform, WeSpin. Now, with all the necessary permits secured, ComeOn has introduced its sportsbook to Ontario’s betting landscape, aiming to capture a larger share of the market.

Following its success in Ontario’s online casino space, ComeOn Group has been pushing to broaden its reach with a sportsbook product tailored for the region. This addition is part of the company’s larger vision to double its sportsbook business over the next few years through continued investments and innovation. According to Juergen Reutter, CEO of ComeOn Group, this expansion plays a pivotal role in the operator’s strategy to balance its casino-led business with a rapidly growing sportsbook segment. “We are very excited about the opportunities this new milestone opens up for us,” Reutter commented. “As a casino-led operator, this expansion represents a key part of our sportsbook strategy to double our business in the coming years.”

The new sportsbook aims to deliver a premium, entertainment-focused experience by leveraging ComeOn’s proprietary technology, which powers its platforms across other international markets. ComeOn Group’s recent relocation of its sportsbook, tech, and risk management operations to a centralized office space is expected to enhance their capacity to serve the Ontario market with a cutting-edge sportsbook experience. Reutter noted that in Ontario, as in other regions, ComeOn Group is committed to providing a unique, technology-driven betting experience. “Our goal is to deliver top-tier entertainment to our players while fostering safe and innovative gaming experiences,” he added, underscoring ComeOn’s focus on user safety and entertainment value.

Ontario has become a focal point for global betting and gaming operators, and ComeOn Group’s sportsbook launch comes amid a wave of activity within the region’s gaming industry. Other companies are similarly investing in Ontario, signaling the market's potential and attractiveness. Recent developments include Relax Gaming’s entry into Ontario through a partnership with PointsBet and DS Virtual Gaming’s recent certification from Gaming Labs International (GLI), underscoring the province’s growing regulatory and business opportunities.

As competition in Ontario intensifies, ComeOn Group's strategic expansion positions it to capitalize on the market’s upward trajectory and to meet the growing demand for a broad range of betting options. The Ontario sportsbook launch reflects ComeOn’s vision to lead with a customer-centric approach, blending entertainment with responsible gaming practices, and further solidifying its presence in the North American market.
