DraftKings Set to Kick Off Online Sportsbook in Vermont on January 11, 2024, Expanding its Reach in the New England Region!

The app is already available for download ahead of the opening day. This move makes Vermont the 26th state in the U.S. to host DraftKings' sportsbook and the fifth in the New England region. DraftKings had previously debuted its online sportsbook and iGaming products in Ontario on May 18, 2022.

Matt Kalish, DraftKings North America President, expressed enthusiasm about expanding the company's presence in the New England area and providing Vermont residents with legal and secure sports betting options. He highlighted the timely launch, coinciding with the start of the NFL Playoffs, offering Vermonters the chance to engage with their favorite sports on the DraftKings Sportsbook app.

The DraftKings Sportsbook caters to a diverse audience, enabling users to place bets on various leagues and tournaments, including the upcoming Super Bowl. The platform also offers access to a wide range of markets and wager types, such as same-game and cross-sport parlays, in-game betting, and special odds boosts.

In anticipation of the launch, DraftKings engaged with the Vermont community by participating in various events. As part of its community outreach, the company donated $25,000 to the Arbor Day Foundation, an organization involved in large-scale reforestation projects throughout the region.

Vermont is not the sole focus of DraftKings' expansion efforts, as the company recently launched its services in North Carolina just a few days ago.
