EveryMatrix Launches ‘Academy for Heroes’ to Support Ukrainian Veterans Transition into Technology Careers!
EveryMatrix, a leading provider in the iGaming and technology sectors, has unveiled a new initiative aimed at helping Ukrainian war veterans transition into technology careers!

The initiative, dubbed ‘Academy for Heroes,’ is designed to support veterans from the Ukraine conflict as they reintegrate into civilian life by equipping them with valuable skills for careers in IT and technology.

The ‘Academy for Heroes’ project is being launched in Lviv, a city of significant importance to EveryMatrix, where the company employs over 300 individuals, some of whom are currently serving in the military. Recognizing the significant challenges faced by veterans returning to normal life, the project offers not only technical training but also crucial social adaptation support. This holistic approach addresses both the physical and psychological obstacles that veterans may encounter during their transition.

The curriculum for the Academy has been developed by seasoned IT professionals to ensure that participants gain relevant and practical skills needed for success in the technology sector. The program’s design reflects collaboration with various local IT companies, which will play a crucial role in providing employment opportunities for veterans who complete the course. This collaboration aims to create a pathway for veterans to secure meaningful employment and build sustainable careers within Ukraine's vibrant tech industry.

Ebbe Groes, Group CEO & Co-Founder of EveryMatrix, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting its employees and the broader community during times of conflict. “Our Lviv office is integral to our success and expansion. In response to the ongoing conflict, we have already contributed over €2 million ($2.2 million) to support our colleagues, friends, and various charities. With the launch of the ‘Academy for Heroes,’ we are taking our support a step further by establishing a dedicated NGO to provide veterans with the training and skills they need to embark on successful technology careers.”

Groes further highlighted the strength of the Ukrainian IT sector, noting its global reputation for technical expertise. “The IT industry represents one of the most robust sectors of the Ukrainian economy, known worldwide for its exceptional skills. We hope that many of these veterans will join our team or other IT firms, providing them with hope and a more secure future for themselves and their families.”

In recent months, EveryMatrix has focused on expanding its presence in North America, including new partnerships with DraftKings in Ontario and Internet Vikings in West Virginia. However, the company’s latest initiative brings its attention back to the region closer to its headquarters in Bucharest, Romania, underscoring its ongoing commitment to supporting Ukraine and its people.
