Kalshi Taps Timothée Chalamet for New World Cup Ad Campaign
Kalshi has unveiled a new advertising campaign featuring actor and Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet, marking the latest high-profile collaboration in the prediction market operator's growing marketing portfolio.

The campaign consists of three television commercials showcasing Chalamet in a variety of everyday scenarios. In separate spots, the actor is seen visiting a dentist, confronting noisy neighbors, and playing piano inside a music store, with Kalshi branding appearing throughout the advertisements.

Announcing the partnership on social media, Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour said the company aimed to stand out during a crowded World Cup advertising cycle.

"In a sea of big brand commercials for the World Cup, we made something different," Mansour wrote.

The collaboration follows several recent celebrity-focused marketing initiatives by Kalshi. Earlier this year, the company partnered with MMA star Nate Diaz ahead of his return to combat sports, securing rights to his name, image, and likeness while launching billboard advertising and co-branded social media promotions.

Kalshi has also strengthened its relationship with Giannis Antetokounmpo, who became an official shareholder in the company in February 2026. Since then, the Milwaukee Bucks star has appeared in multiple television and digital campaigns promoting the platform.

As part of its broader World Cup strategy, Kalshi recently signed a sponsorship agreement with the Argentine Football Association (AFA). The deal grants the operator access to the federation's intellectual property during the tournament and includes co-branded activations, social media initiatives, and the use of Argentina's iconic crest in promotional materials.

Meanwhile, prediction markets continue to gain traction across the sports industry. In April, reports emerged that the National Basketball Association had entered discussions with Kalshi and Polymarket regarding a potential partnership, potentially following the lead of other major North American sports leagues that have already engaged with prediction market operators.
