Kindred Group Donates Front-of-Shirt Space to MFC Foundation for Boro's Foundation Weekend!
Last update: 21 January, 2024
This gesture, part of Boro's Foundation Weekend, mirrors a similar move from the previous season when Kindred allocated the front-of-shirt sponsorship space to the foundation for a Championship match against Millwall.
In lieu of the usual Unibet branding, the Foundation's logo will adorn the front of Middlesbrough FC's shirts, showcasing the foundation's community support initiatives for participants of all ages. Kindred, along with other commercial partners, plays a crucial role in supporting the foundation. The company is actively involved in backing the MFC Foundation's 'Think With Your Feet' program, fostering a safe space for men to engage in football and discuss mental health issues.
During the upcoming game, eight participants from the foundation will enjoy the match from the hospitality area, meet Boro ambassadors, and receive a guided tour of the Riverside Stadium. Sam Mead, General Manager of Kindred Group, emphasized the importance of using their position as the principal partner to amplify the visibility of the foundation's commendable work in the local community.
Head of MFC Foundation, Lynsey Edwards, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to highlight the foundation's efforts and encourage community involvement. This initiative aligns with Kindred's commitment to supporting local communities, as demonstrated by their collaboration with Rangers FC in November for independent gambling education sessions.
