Manchester City Football Club has unveiled a significant new multi-year partnership with renowned betting operator Betway!

This landmark agreement, which will take effect at the start of the 2024/25 season, designates Betway as the club's Official Global Betting Partner.

To commemorate this collaboration, representatives from both Manchester City and Betway will partake in the iconic bell-ringing ceremony at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Ferran Soriano, CEO of City Football Group, and Neal Menashe, CEO of Super Group (Betway's parent company), are slated to ring The Opening Bell at 9:30 am EDT during Manchester City's pre-season tour of the United States.

This partnership marks a significant addition to Betway's expansive sports sponsorship portfolio, which already includes teams from the Premier League, La Liga, NBA, and other major leagues. As part of the agreement, Betway's branding will be prominently featured across Manchester City's digital platforms and in-stadium assets. Additionally, the collaboration promises a variety of activations and exclusive content opportunities designed to engage fans globally.

An integral component of this partnership will be the joint efforts of both entities to provide comprehensive training on betting integrity and responsible gambling. This training will be available to all players, coaches, management, and staff at Manchester City, underscoring the commitment to promoting a safe and fair betting environment.

Commenting on the new partnership, Ferran Soriano expressed his enthusiasm: “We are pleased to announce Betway as our Official Global Betting Partner today. In related news, Betway has been actively expanding its presence in various markets. The company recently entered into a partnership with ESA Gaming, introducing a selection of ESA Gaming's content into targeted African markets such as Tanzania, Nigeria, Mozambique, Zambia, and Malawi. Additionally, Betway became the official sponsor of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) in South Africa, now known as the Betway Premiership.
