As part of the Champions League round of 16, the lot was drawn between PSV and Borussia Dortmund!
On the national stage, PSV have made only two misfires in twenty-two rounds of the Eredivisie, thanks to which they have basically resolved the issue of their championship. A few days ago, the Farmers comfortably beat Heracles 2-0, and at the end of last year they finished second in a Champions League group with Arsenal, Lens and Sevilla.
At the same time, Borussia Dortmund emerged victorious from a real quartet of death, which also included PSG, Milan and Newcastle. Surprisingly, the Black-and-Yellows are only fourth in the Bundesliga. This is despite their excellent form in 2024 - four wins and two draws, including a 1-1 draw with Wolfsburg.
In our opinion, due to their European Cup experience and better selection of players, Borussia Dortmund have a good chance of ending the first round of the duel with PSV with at least a draw.
