A month ago, Sunderland claimed to finish in the top 6, but now they are only tenth with 47 points and a goal difference of 46:40. This is due to four consecutive defeats that the Black Cats suffered from Huddersfield (0:1), Birmingham (1:2), Swansea (1:2) and Norwich (0:1).
Leicester, after winning against Watford (2:1) and Sheffield Wednesday (2:0), also clearly slowed down in duels with Middlesbrough (1:2), Leeds (1:3) and QPR (1:2). Despite this, the Foxes are still at the top of the standings, with 78 points and a 71:31 accuracy shot.
Both teams are going downhill, but Leicester’s talent potential is significantly higher. We wouldn’t be surprised if the visiting team is closer to success in this confrontation.
