This Saturday, Manchester City will test the strength of Newcastle in the quarter finals of the FA Cup!
The current Cup holders Manchester City are not at all opposed to winning this prestigious trophy again. On the way to it, the Cityzens had already defeated Huddersfield (5:0), Tottenham (1:0) and Luton (6:2). In the Premier League, Guardiola's men are only third, but they are only one point behind the leaders.
After finishing in the Champions League zone in the 2022/23 season, Newcastle have suffered a noticeable decline, which have seen them drop to tenth place in the Premier League with little chance of qualifying for European competition. So the Magpies will try to throw all their strength into the Cup, where they took turns defeating Sunderland (3:0), Fulham (2:0) and Blackburn (2:1).
At the moment, Newcastle do not represent anything serious, while Manchester City is on a good run, with high motivation and without significant personnel losses. Our prediction: a landslide victory for the hosts.
