On Monday evening, we will see the last chronological match of the Premier League matchday 33 between Chelsea and Everton!
Chelsea have not known the bitterness of defeat for eight games in a row now, thanks to which they have risen to ninth place in the standings with 44 points and a goal difference of 55:52. And over the past month, the Blues turned out to be stronger than Manchester United (4:3) and Newcastle (3:2), and also lost 2:2 with Brentford, 2:2 with Burnley and 2:2 with Sheffield United.
Everton, after three fiascoes from West Ham (1:3), Manchester United (0:2) and Bournemouth (1:2), looked relatively good in meetings with Newcastle (1:1) and Burnley (1:0). Thus, the Toffees rose to sixteenth place, having 27 points with a scoring statistics of 32:42.
On paper, Chelsea look more impressive, but the Londoners are in really bad shape defensively. We wouldn’t be surprised if the not-so-spectacular Everton scores at least once against the Blues.
