Sportradar and UEFA Expand Multi-Year Partnership, Enhancing Data and AI Capabilities!
Sportradar Group has announced a significant expansion of its existing multi-year agreement with UEFA, the governing body of European football!

The enhanced partnership, which builds on a previously exclusive betting data rights arrangement, now grants Sportradar the non-exclusive right to provide data to non-betting media outlets. This marks a notable development in the collaboration, reflecting the growing importance of comprehensive data in the sports industry.

The enhanced agreement also includes advanced tracking access for Sportradar, a feature the group plans to leverage to bolster its AI offerings for clients. This advanced tracking will allow for more detailed and sophisticated data collection, which can be used to develop new and improved services for Sportradar’s diverse clientele.

Sportradar’s expanded role covers all UEFA club and international tournaments, encompassing high-profile events such as the Men’s and Women’s Champions League, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Euro 2028. This broad coverage ensures that Sportradar will play a crucial role in providing data across a wide range of significant football events.

Carsten Koerl, CEO of Sportradar, expressed his enthusiasm about the expanded partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with UEFA, offering our clients and soccer fans worldwide unparalleled engagement and value through cutting-edge solutions and comprehensive data coverage. This agreement supports our strategic focus on selectively investing in long-term rights across key global sports, enabling ongoing innovation and enhancement of our offerings.”

On UEFA’s side, the new arrangements also include a further extension of the 15-year integrity partnership between the two organizations. This extended partnership now incorporates enhanced investigation and intelligence resources aimed at preventing match-fixing, underscoring the commitment of both parties to maintaining the integrity of the sport.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Marketing Director, commented on the continued collaboration, saying, “Three years ago, we embarked on a journey with Sportradar to tap into the value of match data for betting purposes. Sportradar brings to the table a wealth of experience in this field, and we are delighted to be continuing this successful partnership for the next three years.”

In addition to the UEFA partnership news, Sportradar also announced its upcoming participation in the 2025 Regulating the Game conference in Sydney. At this event, the company will present on technological solutions for effective gambling regulation, further showcasing its commitment to innovation and leadership in the industry.

This expansion of the partnership between Sportradar and UEFA represents a significant step forward in the integration of advanced data analytics and AI in sports. It highlights the evolving landscape of sports data usage, where detailed and accurate data not only enhances betting and media coverage but also plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and excitement of the sport.
