GiG Expands UK Presence with Strategic Betzone Partnership!
Last update: 23 July, 2024
This deal marks GiG’s second UK partnership within a fortnight, underscoring the company’s rapid expansion and strategic positioning in one of the world's most lucrative online gaming markets, estimated to generate £11bn (14.2bn) in annual revenue.
Under this agreement, GiG will provide Betzone with its cutting-edge iGaming platform, CoreX, along with advanced automation tools, LogicX and DataX. These technologies are designed to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and support Betzone's growth ambitions. Furthermore, Betzone will benefit from GiG’s comprehensive compliance and responsible gaming solutions. These systems leverage sophisticated technologies to conduct dynamic risk assessments and manage player interactions based on individual risk levels, thereby ensuring adherence to responsible gaming and anti-money laundering regulations.
Andrew Cochrane, Chief Business Officer at GiG, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating: “The combination of pioneering technology and our commitment to innovation, as perfectly demonstrated with our new and advanced compliance solution, means we are able to deliver a suite of products that provide the most comprehensive and secure springboard for sustained revenue growth.” Cochrane’s comments highlight GiG’s dedication to providing state-of-the-art solutions that not only drive business growth but also uphold the highest standards of security and compliance.
Adam Joseph, Chief Operating Officer at Betzone, echoed this sentiment, saying: “We are delighted to announce this partnership with GiG. Its proven technology track record, customer-centric tools, and industry-leading compliance and responsible gaming solutions make GiG the perfect partner to scale the Betzone brand. This collaboration supports our plans for rapid growth and opens up exciting new business opportunities in a sustainable and responsible manner.” Joseph’s remarks emphasize Betzone’s confidence in GiG’s ability to facilitate its expansion while maintaining a strong focus on responsible gaming practices.
This new alliance with Betzone follows closely on the heels of GiG’s recent partnership with The Football Pools, wherein GiG agreed to provide its sportsbook, SportX, and iGaming platform, CoreX. This collaboration marked the debut of GiG's X-Suite solutions in the UK market, aiming to enhance The Pools' digital footprint and overall market presence.
In addition to these strategic partnerships, GiG has made significant strides in expanding its service offerings. Recently, GiG acquired Titan, a renowned SEO and content services provider. This acquisition is expected to boost GiG’s operational efficiency and strengthen its market position. It comes on the heels of GiG’s decision to spin off its media arm into a new entity named Gentoo, allowing GiG to sharpen its focus on core business areas while enabling Gentoo to pursue growth opportunities independently.
These developments highlight GiG's proactive approach to growth and innovation in the highly competitive UK online gaming market. By forging strategic partnerships and enhancing its service portfolio, GiG is well-positioned to drive sustained growth and set new benchmarks in the industry.
