Nottingham Forest has been one of the biggest surprises of the season, sitting third in the Premier League with 44 points and a 33:27 goal difference.
However, their recent form took a hit with a crushing 0-5 defeat against Bournemouth. Before that, they impressed with wins over Everton (2-0), Wolves (3-0), and Southampton (3-2), as well as a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Liverpool.
Brighton, currently ninth with 34 points and a 35:31 goal ratio, has also shown solid performances. In their last five games, they secured wins against Ipswich (2-0) and Manchester United (3-1), drew with Aston Villa (2-2) and Arsenal (1-1), but suffered a narrow 0-1 loss to Everton.
Interestingly, both teams have been more effective away from home, and Nottingham's growing defensive struggles could play into Brighton’s hands. Given these factors, the visitors have a strong chance of avoiding defeat.
