Valencia and Barcelona will face off in the Spanish Cup quarterfinals.
Despite sitting 19th in La Liga, Valencia have shown signs of improvement, winning four of their last six matches. Over the weekend, they secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Celta, while their cup run has seen them defeat Parla (1-0), Ejea (3-1), Eldense (2-0), and Ourense (2-0).
Barcelona, meanwhile, have been dominant in the competition, cruising past Barbastro (4-0) and Betis (5-1). In La Liga, they remain in third place, four points behind the leader, following a narrow 1-0 win over Alaves.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Barça dismantled Valencia 7-1, and it’s hard to imagine Los Ches closing that gap significantly. The Catalans are expected to claim another convincing victory, likely in their signature attacking style.
