The Coppa Italia quarterfinals will feature a high-stakes clash between Inter and Lazio.
Despite winning just two of their last five Serie A matches, Inter still lead the league, recently edging past Genoa 1-0. Prior to that, the Nerazzurri suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat to Juventus, but they had no trouble in the Round of 16, comfortably defeating Udinese 2-0.
Lazio, meanwhile, advanced to this stage by overcoming Napoli 3-1, keeping their trophy hopes alive after last winning the competition in 2021. The Biancocelesti are on a four-match unbeaten streak in Serie A, most recently playing out a goalless draw against Venezia.
Both teams have prioritized defensive solidity, but Inter’s superior squad depth and home advantage should make the difference. Expect the Milanese side to secure a semifinal berth within regulation time.
