The 28th round of Ligue 1 will kick off in Nice, where the hosts will take on Nantes.
After securing comfortable wins over Montpellier (2-0) and Saint-Étienne (3-1), Nice struggled in their last three outings, falling to Lyon (0-2) and Monaco (1-2) while earning a draw against Auxerre (1-1). Despite this, the Eagles remain in a strong fourth place with 47 points and a goal difference of 51:33, keeping them firmly in the race for European football.
Nantes, on the other hand, sit in a modest 13th position with 27 points and a 31:46 goal difference. The Canaries have had mixed results recently, claiming victories over Lens (3-1) and Lille (1-0) but suffering defeats against Marseille (0-2), Strasbourg (0-1), and Le Havre (2-3).
While both teams tend to perform better at home, Nice boasts a superior squad and should have little trouble asserting their dominance as they continue their push for a Champions League spot.
