Tipico Launches Trusted Partner Initiative to Strengthen Germany’s Regulated Gambling Market

Illegal gambling operators in Germany bypass regulatory frameworks, failing to uphold player protection standards and avoiding tax obligations. To counter this, Tipico's Trusted Partner initiative sets clear criteria for manufacturers, ensuring that certified partners exclusively supply games to legal operators. These manufacturers must also promote responsible gaming and adhere to transparency standards. In return, Tipico will support them through extensive marketing efforts, including TV, digital promotions, and CRM campaigns, increasing visibility for those who comply with legal requirements.

At launch, the initiative includes prominent game developers such as Apparat, Games Global, Greentube, and Play’n GO, all of whom have committed to upholding regulatory and consumer protection standards. By creating a trusted network of certified providers, Tipico aims to shift focus toward the regulated market and limit the reach of illegal gambling platforms.

Looking ahead, Tipico plans to expand the Trusted Partner initiative beyond game manufacturers, bringing payment service providers and media partners into the framework. This broader scope will further enhance market compliance and consumer safety, aligning various industry stakeholders in the fight against illegal gambling.
