Aston Villa will host PSG on Tuesday in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal, trailing 0-2 from the first match.
The Villans come into this clash in great domestic form, sitting fifth in the Premier League after a 3-0 win over Southampton. In Europe, they’ve been solid too, easily eliminating Club Brugge in the Round of 16 with 3-1 and 3-0 wins.
PSG, meanwhile, have found their rhythm after a shaky group stage. They destroyed Brest with a 10-0 aggregate and pulled off a strong comeback against Liverpool, losing 0-1 away but winning 2-0 at home. They’ve also wrapped up the Ligue 1 title early and remain unbeaten in the league.
With a two-goal cushion, PSG have the upper hand, but Villa’s home form shouldn’t be overlooked. If they score early, the tie could quickly become unpredictable.
