Serious contenders for the English title, Liverpool and Arsenal, will face each other in the third round of the Premier League.
At the start of the season, Liverpool is still searching for game balance, which so far has been elusive. Their two wins over Bournemouth (4:2) and Newcastle (3:2) are encouraging, but the Reds are far from showing the level of championship football they displayed last season.
Arsenal, on the other hand, has built a solid defense and makes efficient use of its attacking opportunities. This approach helped the Gunners secure victories over Manchester United (1:0) and Leeds (5:0). Arteta’s team currently sits at the top of the table—a small detail at this early stage of the season, but a promising one.
In terms of play, Arsenal appears slightly more convincing, but the magic of Anfield is likely to favor Liverpool. I am confident that the hosts will at least manage a draw in this encounter.
