Belarus vs Denmark Prediction 9 October 2025
Added on 05 October, 2025
Belarus and Denmark will face off in Group C of the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
In recent years, the level of Belarusian football has declined noticeably, and the national team is no exception. Even before the qualifiers began, the Red-Greens showed instability — defeating Kazakhstan 4-1 but then suffering a heavy 1-4 loss to Russia. In official matches, things haven’t gone much better: defeats to Greece (1-5) and Scotland (0-2) underline their current struggles.
Denmark, meanwhile, have looked far more solid. After a goalless draw at home against Scotland, they bounced back just three days later with a confident 3-0 win over direct rivals Greece, taking temporary control of the group standings. Before that, the Red Guard earned convincing victories in friendlies — 5-0 against Lithuania and 2-1 against Northern Ireland — showcasing their attacking depth and defensive organization.
The visitors have clear ambitions to qualify directly for the World Cup, and they enter this match as overwhelming favorites. Given the gulf in quality and form, Denmark should win comfortably — likely by at least two goals — as Belarus simply lack the strength and consistency to pose a real threat.
