In the ninth round of Serie A, Juventus will look to finally end their winless streak as they host Udinese in Turin.
The Bianconeri have been struggling for form in recent weeks. In their last five league outings, they were held to draws by Verona (1–1), Atalanta (1–1), and Milan (0–0), while suffering defeats against Como (0–2) and Lazio (0–1). With such results, the Old Lady has slipped to eighth place in the standings, sitting on 12 points with a modest goal difference of 9–8.
Udinese, meanwhile, have also accumulated 12 points but trail slightly with a negative goal balance of 10–12, leaving them in ninth place. Their recent results have been inconsistent: heavy losses to Milan (0–3) and Sassuolo (1–3), draws with Cagliari (1–1) and Cremonese (1–1), and a narrow 3–2 win over Lecce.
On paper, Juventus remain the stronger side, and playing at home should give them an extra push to bounce back. Still, with both teams level on points and Udinese capable of scrapping for results, it wouldn’t be surprising if they manage to hold their own for at least one half.
