FK Bodo/Glimt vs Manchester City F.C. Prediction 20 January 2026

On Tuesday evening, matchday seven of the Champions League will see Bodø/Glimt host Manchester City in Norway.

With just three points and a 9:13 goal difference, Bodø/Glimt sit 32nd in the league table and have virtually no chance of reaching the knockout stages. Their recent European form has been mixed: the Black and Yellows earned respectable 2–2 draws against Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund but suffered defeats to Galatasaray (1–3), Monaco (0–1), and Juventus (2–3).

Manchester City, by contrast, have enjoyed a far more productive run. Over the same stretch, the Citizens recorded victories over Villarreal (2–0), Borussia Dortmund (4–1), and Real Madrid (2–1), alongside a 2–2 draw with Monaco. Their only setback came in a surprise 0–2 loss to Bayer Leverkusen. With 13 points and a 12:6 goal difference, City currently occupy a comfortable fourth place.

The trip to freezing northern Norway will present a physical and environmental challenge, but Bodø/Glimt’s lack of competitive action over the past month and their overall quality disadvantage are hard to ignore. Given Manchester City’s improving form, the visitors look well placed to secure all three points.
