Leeds United F.C. vs Arsenal F.C. Prediction 31 January 2026

This winter, Leeds no longer look like a hopeless underdog. Despite sitting 16th with 26 points and a 31–38 goal difference, the Whites have shown real resilience. In their last five matches, they beat Fulham (1–0), lost narrowly to Newcastle (3–4), and picked up draws against Liverpool (0–0), Manchester United (1–1), and Everton (1–1).

Arsenal, meanwhile, followed impressive wins over Aston Villa (4–1) and Bournemouth (3–2) with an unexpected dip in form. The Gunners went three games without a win against Liverpool (0–0), Nottingham Forest (0–0), and Manchester United (2–3). Even so, they remain top of the table with 50 points, a 42–17 goal difference, and a four-point lead over their nearest challengers.

Given Arsenal’s recent setbacks, I’m not convinced they’ll take all three points here. Leeds are far from pushovers, and with Arsenal’s defensive issues combined with their attacking firepower, this matchup has all the ingredients for a high-scoring contest.
